    The GPA and MCAT scores of the latest applicants accepted at Johns Hopkins are high:

    Average GPA: 3.93

    MCAT average: 521

    Applicants should have taken the MCAT within four years of the time they are expecting to be admitted. Applicants with a degree from a foreign language institution must pass the TOEFL exam.

    Johns Hopkins has academic requirements. The following are required for admission;

    1. You need Chemistry – One year or 8 semesters of college chemistry in a laboratory is required. Four hours or so of biological chemistry is required, too.
    2. Biochemistry: one to four hours of biochemistry is required. Laboratories are not necessary for biochemistry.
    3. Mathematics – At least one year of mathematical statistics or calculus is required. It is equivalent to six to eight semesters.
    4. Physics – General university physics (one year) is required. The study had to include a laboratory.
    5. Undergraduate Degree – You must have a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from an accredited institution for admission to Johns Hopkins Medical School.

    Additional entry requirements

    1. You must possess Good communication skills
    2. At the very least, you should have a student program that includes two major courses in the social sciences or humanities.
