Below are some steps you also need to follow when you want to check for NDLEA shortlisted candidates.
- First you login to https://ndlea.gov.ng/
- Download the ndlea shortlist pdf
- Search to confirm your name on the necessary list
National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Shortlisted Candidates Screening Requirements
- All successful candidates (Narcotic Officers and Assistants) are to report at NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus, Jos with the following:
- Original and photocopy of credentials and NDLEA online application reference slip.
- Four copies of 5 x 7 colour photographs without cap/hat.
- Writing materials to include biro, pencils, ruler, notebooks and file jacket.
- Three pairs of white (unmarked) round neck vests and navy blue shorts (without stripes).
- Two pairs of white and black socks.
- Two pairs of pure black canvas trainers (rubber type NOT acceptable).
- Two white bedsheets and pillowcases.
- Two black trousers and white long sleeve shirts.
- One blanket (grey or army green colour).
- Two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wear with shoes.
- Bucket, cutlasses and brooms to be purchased on arrival.
- Some pocket money and toiletries.
- Two black cloth facemasks.
- All successful candidates must at all times observe COVID-19 protocols.
- Successful candidates who fail to report by 6 pm on Tuesday 20 July 2021 will be disqualified.
- Successful candidates of the Narcotic Assistant cadre would be released in batches. The first 1000 successful candidates of the Narcotic Assistant cadre is the first of the Three (3) batches to be released. The remaining two (2) batches would be released subsequently.

Is NDLEA Shortlisted Candidates 2020/2021 Final Screening List Names Out?
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has released the final list of successful candidates for the 2019 recruitment exercise for the Narcotic Officer cadre and the first of three batches for the Narcotic Assistant cadre.
All successful candidates are to report for training at the NDLEA Academy, Kotton Rikus, Jos in Plateau State on Saturday 17th July 2021. The final list of successful candidates for the Narcotic Officer cadre and the first batch of Narcotic Assistant cadre have been published on the Agency’s website: www.ndlea.gov.ng

The NDLEA recruitment website is currently enabled and interested persons can now submit an application.
( https://www.ndlearecruitment.com ) is the official job portal where interested persons can apply and fill the online NDLEA recruitment form for verification.
The portal is now open for the online application processes. All you need to apply is an active email account and your phone number alongside relevant qualifications.
But before submitting an application, there are certain requirements you must meet to prove you are fit and ready to be put through the recruitment process. Below are the requirements.
General Requirements for the NDLEA Recruitment 2022
All Applicants must be a citizen of Nigeria.
Strong team spirit and excellent analytical skills.
Applicants must be a graduate.
Candidates with bad criminal records excluding road traffic offenses will not be accepted to work with this agency.
Interested candidates must have good communication skills.
Must possess a minimum of Five Credits in no more than two sittings in West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE), National Examination Council (NECO), and General Certificate of Education (GCE). Credit in English is compulsory.
Interested applicants must be of good behavior and composure.
HND, B.Sc, NCE, or an OND certificate in any related field, and from a recognized University.
All candidates must have a valid means of identification such as a valid driver license, National Identification Card, International passport, Voters card.
Must be willing to work in a new environment.
Interested applicants must be physically, mentally fit.
All candidates must be free from hard drugs or narcotics. Prove of well-being from a recognized and approved Hospital will be needed.
Applicant interested in the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency recruitment must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years.
